WIMC brings the most recent technologies in cancer screening and treatment where many of which are not available anywhere else in Malaysia. The comprehensive radiology facilities allow early, accurate diagnosis and hence improve the potential for successful treatment.

Our Medical Director and Consultant Radiologist/Nuclear Medicine Physician, Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamad, believes that, “Our philosophy is very simple. We want to detect cancer as early as possible using the various imaging methods available here, and get patients the most effective treatment.”

Furthermore, the cutting edge facilities available at WIMC can be used by practitioners from outside the centre. “We have an open system that allows doctors who are not based here to come in and use our facilities,” Dr. Rahman confirmed.

In addition to cancer screening, general health examinations are also available. The screening package that we offer includes everything you would expect:

Physical examination, bone densitometry, full blood test, cardiology and radiology.

WIMC does not have inpatient facilities currently, and therefore does not yet offer invasive surgery.
