History

Wijaya International Medical Centre Sdn Bhd (621976-D), formerly known as Wijaya Baru Medical Services Sdn Bhd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wijaya Baru Global Berhad, a company listed on the main board of the Bursa Secuirities Malaysia Berhad.

Our story thus far:

WIMC started its operation in the 3rd quarter of 2005 as an outpatient health screening and cancer treatment facility in Petaling Jaya.

The second part of its first phase is expected to be fully completed within the next 2 years which will include a 50-bed inpatient facility with operation theatres and ICUs.

We currently occupy an estimated total of 20,925.2169 sq. ft. covering the Ground Floor, 22,000 sq. ft. for Level 3 and a section of 2,000 sq. ft. of Level 5 of the building in Petaling Jaya.

The Ground Floor is made up of the reception area and waiting room. The imaging, therapy, recovery and MD's rooms are also situated there, together with the pharmacy and cashier.

The Outpatient and Chemotherapy facilities are on the 3rd Floor. This floor consists of more waiting areas for the comfort of our patients, the laboratory and prayer rooms. The medical records department, lecture theatres and staff locker rooms are also there.

Cardiology facilities, executive screening rooms, on-call rooms and the ambulance call centre are on the 4th Floor. The 5th Floor is reserved for Administration purposes.
